New obsessions?

Ok, so I was perusing itunes awhile back and I found a imix that someone had made, of their favorite femal rock bands. Obscure, to be sure, but WOW could these ladies sing. I, of course, downloaded pretty much everything I could find by each band, and I am in love. I admit it. I just love it. So I thought I'd share! Above is a video by my favorite of these rockin' ladies, by a band named VersaEmerge. Sierra Kusterbeck has an absolutely beautiful voice, and she can do so much with it. From her angel sweet, soft lines to the times she screams, this woman is GOOD. Also in the imix were bands with the unique names of Automatic Loveletter, who is apparently rising in popularity and (according to die-hard fans) soon to become the new Avril, or even Paramore. Along with The Letter Black, Eyes Set to Kill, In This Moment (careful kids: this one can SCREAM), Picture Me Broken (another metal screamer, though not as much as In This Moment), and The Pretty Reckless (whom my lovely mother so accurately labeled as "raw Pink"). I'm a major fan of Versa, but these other female-fronted bands are really good, and I highly recommend them. So! Write em down folks, and keep an eye out, 'cause I get the feeling these girls are rising fast and hard. Enjoy!
